Antrim Creek, one of the top app development companies, worked closely with the client to define the requirements for version 1.0 of the app, named “Manna.” We explored various methods for loading and organizing video content and provided rough estimates for each approach. By collaborating with Faith In Dreams Edutainment on their budget, we decided to use YouTube for the sermon videos. This choice ensured excellent video performance and allowed for curation and organization of the sermons, while also leaving room for future enhancements using Manna’s own video player and content delivery network.

As a custom mobile app development company, Antrim Creek developed a Ruby on Rails application that lets the client control pastors, churches, sermon categories, and sermon content within the Manna mobile app. This tool is user-friendly, allowing Faith In Dreams Edutainment to bulk import sermon content via a CSV file.

We also developed a cross-platform mobile application, enabling quick deployment of version 1.0 to both iOS and Android users from a single codebase. While future functionality might necessitate separate codebases for iOS and Android, the cross-platform app was an effective solution for this iteration. Our mobile app developers designed a custom user experience and user interface for the app, resulting in a relaxing and comforting experience for users seeking spiritual guidance.

The Manna mobile app launched in regional churches and received positive feedback. Users appreciated the ease of browsing by topic, sermon message, pastor, and more, finding it much simpler than using YouTube.
